April 19th, 2010, PGI was established by Theragen Inc. as a non-profit research organization. Theragen is the most advanced genomics company in Korea.<br />

Its main projects are analyzing personal genomes and other omes such as transcriptomes.<br />

It is led by [[Jong Bhak]], Ph.D., ByungChul Kim, Ph.D., Sunghoon Lee, Ph.D., MinSeob Lee, Ph.D., Hoyoung Ghang, and TaeHyung Kim.<br />
